Kevin Smith

Kevin Smith grew up in Albany, NY where he played high school baseball. At age 15, Kevin quickly realized his love to teach the game and began giving hitting and fielding instruction at All Stars Academy. By age 20 Kevin was part owner and the lead hitting director of All Stars before meeting his wife Jamie and ultimately choosing to move back to Texas with her with the intention of becoming a Physical Education teacher and high school baseball coach. Once in Texas, he realized he wanted to be able to coach his own children one day, so he went to work at the family business, where he sells insurance and is a FINANCIAL coach.  Kevin has been coaching youth sports in the area since 2014 when his son Walker started playing blast ball. Once his daughter Camdyn began tee-ball, he made the switch to coaching softball because he says, “girls listen WAY better than boys!” Kevin has helped hundreds of kids in central Texas improve their hitting and brings that knowledge and experience to Lonestar.
