Jamie Walker-Smith

Jamie (Walker) Smith was born and raised in Austin and played softball at OHYSA, Storm Select organization and Bowie high school. She went on to play Division1 softball at Siena College in Loudonville (Albany), NY, where she started in the outfield all 4 years. She specializes in bunting/slapping, base running, and outfield. Jamie believes in developing EVERY player on the team with the goal being that at the end of the season each player has improved. Winning is the goal of any game, but winning comes from development. Coach Jamie says that the game of softball saved her life, and she wants to give as many girls as possible the same opportunity to let the game change their lives too! She and her husband Kevin have two kids, Walker and Camdyn, and when they aren’t coaching, they are running their Financial Services business or watching baseball!
